So I tried upload and my other blogpost before and it didn't work so I hope it works now
Also during this week we talked about plastic surgery and I couldn't help but think about Heidi Montag, When people first heard Heidi's name some people didn't know her unless you watched Laguna Beach or The Hills on MTV back in the day, otherwise you would have no idea who Heidi was , fast forward 4 years later and everyone pretty much knows Heidi but not for the right reasons.....
It's pretty shocking still now to see her look like this , but I think she is one of the top examples to show that plastic surgery is not glamorous at all in fact Heidi has stated that she can't even talk loudly because of the intense surgeries. The face that people use plastic surgery for the wrong reasons and later on regretting it definitely shows that plastic surgery is a very serious issue and should be used very carefully and awareness should more broadcasted to state that if someone would like to get plastic surgery to consider the consequences because they could be dangerous.

I DO DO I ?
This week we discussed brides in the media and how brides want to be absolutely perfect on their wedding day and are willing to do anything in order to get what they want , this instantly made me think about the show called Bridezillas. Bridezillas is a show that is shown on WE TV network and it follows a bride around days before her ceremony and basically while she is being filmed the entire time she is portrayed as a CRAZY psycho lunatic ( just to put it lightly ) , but as I'm watching these brides and watching their stories unfold I noticed the common line being said by all the brides is " This is the most important day of my life, nothing can go wrong ". But with that much pressure on just one day is it really worth it ? is the stress and over extra accessories really worth it or the fact that a bride can say I spent 60,000 dollars on my wedding day is really what it's about , I think media has definitely changed views of weddings and showing that it's okay to be overly extravagant and people would rather know how money you spent on your wedding cake instead of what vows you will recite to your husband. It brings the questions to mind I Do want to get married Do I ? or just avoid all the complications and just elope in Vegas......

Housewives , Catfights, Drama Oh My!
I was so excited when I found out we were discussing about the Housewives , now I do not watch Desperate Housewives but I love the reality television show housewives especially , The Real Housewives Franchise and I think this blog is perfect timing because lately I have been Housewife crazy ! , I have been obsessing over The Real Housewives since the beginning the series , seeing these fresh new housewives is very refreshing and instead of seeing them portraying a traditional lifestyle ,by greeting their husbands and having dinner waiting , instead you see the wives going on shopping sprees , Loading up on plastic surgery and being very catty. I believe that seeing wives show that they have some Independence , has definitely proven that housewives have definitely changed from the 50's . And The Housewives Franchise are now evolving and promoting Independence showing that it's okay to be very independent and have self owned businesses and even promoting that a wife doesn't have to be dependent on her husband and have to stay married to him but also even saying that it's okay to have a divorce and its not shameful , It's amazing how the life style that was shown over 50 years ago of a traditional housewife is so different from what is portrayed today as the traditional housewife and is broadcast weekly on national television on the East and West coast.
